In hospital

Hi all, just wanted to pop on and ask for your good thoughts and prayers. Sofia is in the hospital with rotavirus and severe dehydration.

She had to get an IV and hearing her screams and cries as they held her down to insert it was pretty much the worst thing I've experienced.

We're still here until the diarrhea stops and she pees, neither of which have happened yet. There's talk of a catheter but I'm not letting it to there without a damn good reason.

Anyway, if you could just keep us in your thoughts that would be great. Thanks you guys.

  10. Oh no! I'm sorry Sofia is sick. There's not much worse than seeing your baby in pain and not being able to fix it for them. :(

Sending lots of pee-pee and solid poop vibes! I had to get a catheter right after DD was born (long story) and it hurt. My bladder was full though and I just couldn't pee because of swelling so it had to be done. But the area was also pretty beaten up at the time ;) so in case Sofia needs one I'm sure it won't be as bad.

  14. Definitely keeping you, Drew, and Sophia in my thoughts. Lord knows it's never easy to hear your baby upset, even when it's over something that will do them good/make them better. Hoping to hear soon that everything goes smoothly and ends happily. E-hugs. <3

  16. I hate to hear this!!!! I've said a prayer.

P.S. You had me googling this. For the past week, Zoe has been pooping and it's turned into diarrhea this week and she's vomited twice. She's not drinking enough nor eating enough.

When you leave me a comment, my phone chimes. I run to it from across the house, anxious to read what you've said. I save them in my email and read them multiple times a day, which is why you may not get an immediate response but I promise I eventually respond to every comment that has an email address.

You make me smile - I just thought you should know.
