1. A good yoga class - Sweating, shaking and smiling. It's the only way to be.
2. My husband's laugh - He's not big on the belly laughs but when he does, his smile lights up his whole face.
3. Spa treatments - massages, facials, mani, pedi - That is my idea of heaven!
4. A clean house - Where everything is in it's place, there's the faintest hint of citrus cleaner and someone else has done it for me!
5. Salsa dancing - Even though I haven't been dancing in a while I still remember how happy I feel when I'm with a good partner.
6. Finding a home decor item I've been wanting - I wanted a cake stand for my perfumes and I had no idea where to even begin looking for something like that. One day we were in Urban Outfitters and Drew was like, 'Hey isn't this a cake stand?' And it WAS! For only $10! There's nothing like that triumphant feeling!
7. My girlfriends - I only have a few, but they're so special to me. Whether it's lunch, drinks, dinner or just hanging out at my house watching a movie, my time with them is so very precious.
8. Purging and organizing - Am I a nerd for admitting that? The storage container aisle at Target makes me drool. We have a space in the closet that I filled with clear totes from Target and I swear I just stood there and looked at them, sighing in contentment for a good ten minutes! I love for everything to have a place and every place to have a thing.
9. New clothes - I take care of the clothes I have and I don't have anywhere to go these days which means I don't shop. When I do, it's a total treat for me and I love the whole process. Finding something I love, trying it on, modeling in the fitting room and taking it home!

Yeah, I said it. No, I can't believe it either. Yeah, I'm serious. No, I'm not being funny.
Somewhere, sometime, that ridiculous animal put a smile on my face and I was done for. That was it. Now, I invite her up on the sofa to curl up next to me to watch tv. Now, I'm the one who pets her and loves on her. I'm the one who is actually worried for her well-being. And I'm the one who laughs when she's being cute.
There, I said it. It's out there and I've no interest in taking it back.
